Filling the torch wasn’t easy and some of the fluid was dripping out. We still haven’t figured this out. Once we had enough fuel in there it worked fine. We also had to play with the type of sugar, amount and flame size. We found that white sugar worked better than brown. So it’s taking some practice to get familiarized with the process. Overall the torch did it’s job and didn’t malfunction.
i’m a professional cook bought this for home use..and on everything i’ve used it, it turns out really good.
I’ve used it only twice but it’s nice and powerful. My only issue is that it runs out of fuel really fast but it doesn’t have a huge capacity anyway and it fills really fast too.
I bought this as a gift for my home-chef boyfriend and it works great, creates a tasty crust on creme brulee. Easy to use and store, safety button on back makes me feel better about storing it.
I have used this for over a two months on one charge of butane. Works flawlessley – very Highly recommend!
