I like this pod. It’s good for the drainage of its contents, and it keeps things cooking in hot glass jars. Some small objects can pass through the holes so use noodles, etc. in order to avoid this problem. This is a great thing to have in the kitchen. . . . and it makes me laugh every time I see how it looks sort of Goofy. When I show it to people, none of them an idea of how to use it.
I have these thoughts that I was frozen mixed vegetables cook quickly. Unfortunately, that is the question of how the holes in this are really important. Peas, sliced carrots, corn and beans are just floating down. It is much more well-cut vegetables such as broccoli, carrot hunks fat, etc. It says on the box may contain 1 dozen eggs. I have not tried, but it is certainly big enough. It is much bigger than I expected. I wish they had a mini-version.
