The clock is great, works very well, adjustable brightness, easy buttons to use (even in the dark). Overall an excellent product.

The only thing I would change is that the display is a bit large (numbers are about 1.5″ tall – pretty big). Wish there was one size smaller. However, it is easy to see across the room.

In a nutshell I have no problems with it. The display is large and easy to read. The display brightness is adjustable from a low setting that is perfect for next to the bed to very bright which I’m sure would be legible in a well lit room. It has a couple of options for the alarm tone. My wife and I both use the beep which works well. The alarm will slowly increase its beep rate if you don’t shut it off immediately. It even automatically adjusts the time for DST. Neither of us have ever used the radio so I can’t offer an opinion of its sound quality. I’ve also learned by accident that you can adjust the length of the snooze delay. Also pressing the snooze button multiple times will increase the delay with each press.

The alarm clock is very nice for the price, easy to program and check alarm times. Checking if the alarm is set AM/PM is easy as well.

Why do electronic manufacturers insist on putting the alarm off button near the snooze or even putting one on the same surface? This one has that same issue, yet to find one that doesn’t.

The progressively louder alarm tone is annoying, I’d rather have a loud, quick alarm that gets me up and doesn’t lull me back to sleep.

All in all, it’s a great deal and a great alarm clock. I’d recommend it to anyone who hates “misprogramming” the alarm

I seem to loose track of time while playing video games. I have a PS3 and even tough it has a built-in clock, stopping to check it while playing online is not going to happen. I got this Sony ICF-C414 clock sitting next to it so that I can take a quick glance when needed. It works like a champ, and is very good looking with a flat front that hides the buttons and knobs.

I do have a negative to point out. I have a large window above the TV that makes this clock virtually unreadable during the day. The light coming in the room is bright, but the display is dim even at the highest setting.

The clock has met my maintenance expectations as it self adjusts to daylight savings time. The time was set out of the box so all I’ve had to do to it, aside from fiddling with the brightness setting, was to plug it in and walk away.

Overall, I would purchase again even with the deficiencies.

I was pleasantly surprised how nice this clock radio is for very little money. I did not need all the bells and whistles some come with…just a attractive, inexpensive clock radio with a decent sound. The big numbers are a plus. It was exactly what I was looking for.
